I have BHR surgery scheduled for May and I was wondering if anyone has had or has any info on Dr. Emil Schemitsch of St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto.

I see he is on the surgeon's list, but i don't see a "count" next to his name....you may want to take a short trip over to Montreal to see:

Its really important to get a surgeon with lots of experience, and Dr.Antoniou has done 700+ .

I live in Mississauga and went to Dr. Frank Smith who is out of Hamilton Henderson Hospital. He seems to have the most experience with hip resurfacing in Ontario
