Knee pain

Hello there hip friends.
Im new here. had surgery 27 oct in belgium Dr DeSmet.
Everything goes well until this week. The last four nights did I have a big pain at my knee, on the outside. It begins when i fell asleep and I wake up after 1-3 hours with pain. It´s ok at daytime and I do my exercise.

Yes, I had that too and my Physical Therapist and doctor said it is the muscles as they are all connected.  My pain was on the inside of my knee area.  I'm not a doctor and I don't know about your pain, but that is what I was told was causing my pain.  I am four weeks post op and it is still sore.  Good Luck, Pam
