Hurts from hip to knee

I received clearance to resume running yesterday from my surgery June 26th.I was only able to jog half way around the rubberized track. I had the anterior aproach done and have had trouble with muscles disturbed by surgery. The hole upper half of my leg including my hamstrings hurt but went away after walking a couple hundred feet. I had hoped when i started running I could speed the recovery process up. I plan to do a little more each day.

Yes  It is just short of one year. Have a limp today. Plan to rest and try again tomorrow. I had Dr. Kennan at Waterbury hospital in CT. I weighed about 285 at time of surgery and now I am about 300 lbs.
