One year today!

Thank you to all the surfacehippies for your support.  I had a LBHR done one year ago today - and my how time flies by when you are not in pain!!!! At 43 years old, I feel so much younger now than I did before my surgery.
My advice to others considering this surgery is to do alot of research and reading on this website.  You are your own best advocate - educate yourself about resurfacing and actively search for doctors who can help.  Get several opinions and don't take no for an answer if you are in pain.  Find a good physical therapist who can assist you before and after your surgery.  It is also very important to have a supportive spouse or caregiver.   
I would also like to say that although I have a skin allergy to nickel, I have had no complications since my surgery.
Thanks again to everyone who has taken time to answer questions for me.  I have so much to be thankful for today!
