16 days post op, and feeling great

Hi,

Just thought I'd post an update, I'm now 16 days post op, and I've feeling great, still a little sore around the wound.

District Nurse visited the other day, and was happy with the way it was healing, and yesterday, I left hte house for the first time since returning from hospital, went and helped mum around a cat sanctuary she helps at.  Took this gently, and everything was fine.

Will be going out more each day, but being careful.

Congratulations and very best wishes with your recovery.   

It sounds like it is working well for you and you are taking it carefully.   From my memories of both hips, it feels good to start those early steps to recovery.    The journey was definitely worth it for me.
