Breaking Point

Went to the gym last night did some walking uphill on the treadmill and a session on the crosstrainer. I didn't really push myself like I used to.

I know I have made the right decision as I was in pain in bed last night. The pain has returned to the outside of my knee and the top of my outer calf, which is the thing which caused me to see my consultant initailly. Groin ache is consistant.

Can't wait for it to be done and dusted now.

I know a member of the hospital staff, and ahe has told me what to take into hospital with me when I go in, so I'm almost 100% prepared!!!! ::)

Good guess Larry.

Although it does say Preston in my profile I live in Longridge which is about 7 miles away from Preston. Avid PNE fan as well. Will miss 3 home games in Sept!!! :'(

Why what about you? Where in Lancs?

i know longridge quite well,its a nice neck of the woods.
i used to go to the motorbike racing back in the seventies and have done that 7 mile xmas pudding run.although it was only 7 miles it was harder than some half-marathons.
i live in horwich now,but i'm from burscough originally and lived in wigan for twenty years too.
my dad used to take me to watch preston when i was a kid if united were away and if he was working i'd watch burscough

you'll be ok by then.a lot of ups and downs though !
i wanted to run again,but although my operated hip is fine my other one has osteophytes on it.
