Both Hips done!

I have had both hips'done,1 in 2000 by Mr TREACY which is absolutely 'perfect' and the other in 2002 by his colleague(both in Royal Oth. Birmingham)
In 2003 I returned to playing soccer aged 52
I have recommended the proceedure to many people and none have been disappointed.
A few months back I 'tuned into a live op.via web cast from an American Hospital that was 'selling 'the proceedure.Highly illuminating altho' my wife was not able to watch it!!
I,ve been looking for info' since 2000 that would explain fully what the entire procedure and long term entails and this site seems 'just the job'
I'd be happy to share experiences/concerns with anyone interested

It is great to hear you returning to soccer at 52. 

I would be happy to post your story on my Hip Stories page if you wanted to write one.  Also photos are great - especially of you being active.

Mr. Treacy is a great hip resurfacing surgeon.

You should get you wife to get a vidoe of you playing soccer and I will post it on my new section where Surface Hippy is going to feature Surface Hippy Videos.  I am working on it now.
