New Hip on May 6th...

We'll, I just hit the 6 month window, I am happy to say that all is great.  I was told that many will experience significant healing at the 6 month window.  Almost to the day for me.  The little "pulls" went away.  No start up issues, nothing.  Not even after sleeping on the operated side.  

One thing that I have added to my rehab and I guess that in some ways rehab never ends... is dynamic stretching.  I had focused for the last 5 months on static stretching.  Dynamic stretching is different.  The real test will come in a month or so when I start skiing.  

No sure if I wil run again.  Still contemplating that one.  

If you are in New England and considering a HR, I suggest you consider Dan Snyder at Newton-Wellsley.

Congratulations! also a Dr. Snyder patient here, I'm on my 8 week anniversary, will be doing the other hip in a month. Glad to hear things are going so well at 6 months.
