Nearly 1 year on from Hip resurfacing op

Hi,

I used to log in here as msmith, but I wasn't able to log back in.

In 3 days time, it will be 1 year, since I had my hip resurfacing operation.

I think the big clue that I've been absent for so long is probably a clue as to how well things have gone.

I've made it through my second year of University, with no problems, at least with my hip. I had a problem with my left ankle, but that pre-dates the hip.

In a few weeks I'll be seeing my consultant for my 1 year checkup.

Thanks, it's been one heck of a year, ti's had it's ups and downs, but well worth it in the end.
