Heterotopic ossification a major concern for me on HR

I had my hip scoped due to tears.  A very experienced surgeon did the surgery and all went well.  He did tell me had concerns as the hip was a lot worse than he had expected.  I took indomethicen and still formed major Heterotopic ossification which has severly limited my range of motion to its worse ever.  My surgery was in March/2010 and my hip is now worse than ever with bone growth and pain.

I went to see Dr. Su and he said I needed to have a hip resurfacing as the arthritis is bad.  My concern is what do I do about the Heterotopic ossification?  I know they can radiat the hip but then that will not only stop the Heterotopic ossification but may also stop the resurfacing device from taking hold.

Any thoughts?
