The scar

I had a good look at my scar this morning and noticed it's not flat at all. The entire length is a dent to the surrounding area. I am at almost 5 months. Will it flatten out or always dent in? What does your scar look like?

My PT told me to massage the scar and area around it to break up scar tissue....she said that would help the appearance as well. Don't use anything scented that would irritate it. It seems to have helped mine a great deal. I am at 9 weeks post op LBHR.
