Dr. Emil Schemitsch??? How many treatments?

I live in Toronto Canada and have been referred to Dr. Emil Schemitsch.  Have any of you got your hip resurfacing done by him?   Or any experience at all?   

I can't find much on him.

I had mine done by him in May of 2009. Excellent doctor. Very pleased with the results.
His assistant told me that he did about three a week for the two years prior to mine, and it has been two years since. I think he has done a few! Where are you from? I,m in Barrie.

I have so many questions.

How long did it take for you to walk, run, drive, etc on your own after surgery?  


How old are you?  Are you athletic?

How did you prepare your leg for surgery? Did you start doing strength training before?    


You're diet after surgery?  A lot of protein?  Supplements like calcium etc??


I read some of your other post, and got very scared.  How is your hip now?  Can you run, kick boxing, etc?       I'm a fighter my self so this is very important to me.
