Going on 3 years and started having slight pain

I had my hip done in 08. After three years and going good, I'm starting to have a slight pain when I put pressure on my leg. It is when I walk or sit.  It feels like a bee sting and its in my hip joint. I feel one night about a year after my surgery right on my butt and had a grinding sound for a few days, but my Dr. said everything looked good, and he was sure that the implant was fine. This is a recent thing, and it will keep me from doing much for about a day or so. THe pain gets to a point where my whole thigh will start to hurt, and it reminds me of how i felt before my surgery. Anyone else experincing this?
