Hernan and Steve, thanks so much for the encouragement.  I know you're right!  I'm really looking forward to having two good hips, just not to the first few weeks afterwards.  It will feel great to have it done though!

I was talking to a coworker today who had a THR about a year ago and she and I were talking about how great it is to be without pain and to not be hobbled up all the time.  She was damn near crying about how great she felt and how good life was since she got her new hip.  I totally agreed.  Like I said earlier, "the clouds parted,..." and I'm still getting over my death march through the suburban desert and I feel so much better than a year ago.  It's hard to express in a post about how excited I am for others to go through this and get their lives back.  It really is a great feeling to be where I'm at.

BTW - I believe that would be stage 6.

I'd hop on the table tonight if Dr. Rector was willing! Good God man, I can't wait to join you and be free of this pain and hobbling around.

Thank you for the great visions. My day is coming, along with a lot of others who are taking back their lives. Keep posting for us.
