My friend, who had her hip resurfaced 7 years ago, and is the one who told me about resurfacing and Dr. Gross, also told me abut the surfacehippy website. ;D

After two doctors told me my only option was total hip replacement, I refused to believe them and googled 'alternatives to hip replacement.' This site came up and thank God it did!!!

My doctor had it listed on their website under patient education.  This gave me assurance that this was a reputable website.  I also googled it, but now I just have it memorized.  I really like the chat on this site, it is top notch.
