Had pre-op physcial with a general physician and everything came back normal except kidney function was a little low.  Asked me if I had been taking aspring etc.  Um hello, I told you I was on pain meds.  So he wants to recheck next week.  If this keeps me from having this surgery I am gonna go postal.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the effects of Aspirin on the system are pretty short-lived.  Good luck.

I had my pre-op monday and am scheduled for surgery tuesday and was told to stay off of asprin or any other blood thinner this week.  I am sure if you are not scheduled for surgery until next week, everything will be ok.
