Dr. Marc Umlas

I live in South Florida and need hip resurfacing or a total hip replacement.  I would like to learn about Dr. Marc Umlas, what experiences others have had with him, the outcome of other BHR procedures performed by him, and any other information that will help me make an informed decision about engaging him as my surgeon.

If no one replies or has not used Dr. Umlas for a resurfacing, you should definitely ask how many resurfacings he has performed. I see on his website that he uses the BHR system, but can't find much info about resurfacings on the site.

Hi and welcome to the site. Like Joe mentioned, make sure he's not only done Resurfacing, but is doing a good number every week and has done hundreds. This is a life changing procedure, but you want someone with experience Andre skill doing it.
