so, surgery is monday for me. it is still a possibility that i could have a thr, but my surgeon is confident from looking at x-rays and doing bone testing that nothing should keep me from having a bhr.

i have been very anxious and nervous, this is my first surgery and i still have not decided whether i will take general or epidural. i am very excited about being pain free.

i am very happy this site is here and that i have received support and responses from people with experience. i will be sure to send my story to be posted and i will be back here as soon as possible with an update.

Hi Rebecca

I hope that your surgery goes well and you get your BHR.  If for some reason, you ended up with a MOM THR, you will still be out of pain and able to do just about anything.

I know we all want a hip resurfacing, but sometimes we can't get them.  HOpefully if you surgeon feels you are a good candidate - you will wake up with a new BHR.
