Congrats and happy healing!!!  Take your own path, take the meds if you need them, esp after PT.  I didn't keep a thorough diary, but what I did write down helps me remember where I've been since D-Day and keeps it in perspective of what you couldn't do then vs where you are when you start questioning yourself if you'll 'ever heal'...

Good news, Stephen! the mule kicking will pass and healing take its place.

The foot thing is a kick, isn't it?  My feet were sideways before the surgery and now point straight ahead too. Remember that when you get twinges and you're not sure where that comes from. Your poor body is going to relax back to normal, and it will readjust muscles, etc. along the way. I feel good for you.
