38-year Old with a Dilemma

I am a Gross hippy, and I have YET to find anyone who's had him as a surgeon that hasn't raved about the entire experience.  I'm sure a few others in the states (Dr. Su, Dr. Amstutz, Dr. Pritchett, Dr. Schmitt, a few others) who are equally regarded by their patients.  But I am so thrilled with the entire experience that I feel I must endorse Dr. Gross.

90% of people of this site will tell you their guy is the best...including me with Gross in S.C. (I'm 15 days post op)
I took advice of only looking at Docs who had done at least a couple of hundred resurfacing surgeries. Ask them how often they have had to do a THR when they went in to do resurfacing (shouldn't be many, if any...an excuse some docs use who aren't comfortable fitting in the cups). Find someone close to you who is qualified, well recommended and is on your insurance plan and then get it done. Most of the good docs are booked 3 plus months out.
If there aren't any close to you, travel to the best one you find.

You'll probably think everyone on this site makes it sound easy, just do it...but they have all done it. Follow their stories and it is like a handbook on what to do/not to do, and what's next every step of the way...good luck...jb
