I know what you mean when you say you are starting to feel like a runner again.  I have had several of those moments over the last couple of months.  This morning I went for a nice 40 minute run that felt absolutely wonderful.  It helps that it was sunny and cool.

"Just do it" indeed!

Great to hear, good job, Woodster!.  It sure is a good feeling to run again, isn't it.

Today: 5min walking warm up, 40 min steady running, no breaks, 5min walking cool down.

I'm slow as old dirt at this time it doesn't matter.  This is the plan for the next two months; run almost every day, 2 days a week on the treadmill for 20min working on turnover, other days in the woods just running steady.  Then in August I can start to work on speed!

Treadmill today at the gym: 5 min walking warm up, 20 minute run, 5 min cool down.

I started the run at 10:30 pace and raised it every couple of minutes.  For the last 5 minutes I was at 8:28 and feeling great!
HR at the end of the run 141.

Today my legs felt heavy from yesterday's faster bicycle ride but my pace was still up.  I finished the loop a minute faster.

Treadmill today, got down to 8:17 per mile for the last 5 minutes.

Put in the building permit application for the two additions on my Woodstock house that I'll be putting up this summer
