Folks
Post op 8 weeks now. Today I went 20 miles on the bicycle. First time riding since before surgery. It seems the more I exersice the better my leg feels the next day. I am taking a muscle building shake once a day to enhance the regeneration and overall growth.
I still feel an occaisional and very mild clunking. it doesnt hurt, just feels a little weird. I don't know if this goes away or not after full healing.

John C

The clunking normally either goes away completely, or becomes a very rare occurrence. I had a lot of it at first, not much after the first few months, and very rare by the first year. At this point I might feel the rare shift, but no clunks.

Like John said, only see this once in a great while at two years - usually after a hard workout (if then) or just when I wake up, very light if at all.
