Hi everyone, I have some residual swelling, bruising in my r foot and ankle. It itches and is tight. None of my shoes fit. I have elevated and iced. Has anyone tried epson salt soaks...it works for sprained ankles and foot swelling... not sure about this kind of swelling. Thanks! Just trying to hurry along the process, I guess. Thanks for input!

It probably wouldn't hurt to try -- but your best bet is to drink a lot of water and elevate the foot in order to reduce swelling. Epsom salts typically treat sore, over used muscles and help to draw out the toxins in the system.

Wishing you the best!
