Early season water skiing in NY state

A great day in upstate NY- snow skied a dozen runs early in brilliant sunny (but windy) conditions at Gore Mountain, then put the ski boat in for the "summer".  We donned the drysuits and water skied in Lake George with a few bays of leftover ice; water temperature in the low 40's.  The wind was fierce, but the experience of snow skiing in the morning / waterskiing in the afternoon is incredible- thanks to the resurfaced hip I am still able to join my kids in these activities!
