Hi,
I am 18 months post op for a Left Leg BHR. So far I have had no issues in recovery (touch wood) and have become a regular cyclist at 60+ miles a week and walking around 20 miles a week. I have a physical job and I eat well. Prior to my hip packing up due to severe OA i used to go off road running about 3 times a week and I loved it.

My question is, Is it ok to go running again?

I have shied away from it as it seems there are many people who think it's not a good idea. Things like, you'll wear it out, risk of fracture etc.

I am 47 years old and am 10lbs overweight.....and by that I of course mean 20lbs overweight.

Your thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.
