i will look into ART.  it's worth a try.

I recently did a triathlon - don't get excited, it was a "mini sprint" version... I only swam about 200 yards in the ocean, followed by a 6 mile bike ride, and then a 1.5 mile run... the swim was hard..wow did it get me tired..and I consider myself a good swimmer... the bike wasn't too bad as I usually do 15-20 mile bike rides...but then the run got my hip pretty sore.. I wasn't able to make the whole 1.5 miles without stopping. about .5 miles into the run i had to start/stop....and kept up the start/stop method the rest of the run.  I'd run for like a minute, then walk for about 30 seconds..and go back and forth... i tried to run through the pain but it got so bad I would eventually she to stop..but then within 30-60 seconds of walking, the pain is gone.

no idea at this point it this is hydration related, or scar tissue related.  i will look into ART, find a provider, and give it a try.
