Uk alternatives to BHR For young female?

Not for me this time.

I know someone that has one hip resurfaced because of juvenile arthritis about ten years ago. Shes about 30 and can hardly walk now (other hip). Shes going to get a THR on the NHS. By the surgeon that did the BHR other side.

I just wondered if she has any other options. I guess theres too much risk with doing a BHR on other side.

Is there any other option?  I just worry she is missing out.
