Will be traveling to SC on 9/28 for my 6 week check up on 9/29.  I'm feeling better every day.  Feel a little soreness when climbing stairs.  Otherwise, not much soreness at all.

Just completed my 6 week post op check with Lee Webb and Dr. Gross.  According to them, my X-rays look perfect.  On to phase 2 of Dr. Gross's fast recovery program.  I feel very fortunate.

That's great, its amazing how many surgeries they do. Its so routine to them and such a big deal for the patient. I don't think I have ever seen a surgeon/office with so many praises, Dr.Gross and there team are top notch.

Good luck recovering.

Aint that the truth Larry? Dr Gross has turned a whole bunch of us into cheerleaders! I don't mind a bit, I'm happy to echo all the great things I read before I was there. They're such nice people and do incredible work making people's lives soooooooooo much better.

Good Luck Jim. Sounds like you are moving right along.  Thank You for sharing your story.  It is especially interesting since you were one of the outpatient surgeries.  Take it easy.

As of today, I'm nine weeks post op.  Working on Dr. Gross's phase II exercises and also working on rang of motion.  I have no pain, slight groin tightness when walking up stairs.  At my six week check up, Dr. Gross said that would be gone by 12 weeks.  It gets less every day.

I'm now six months post op.  I'm back to practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and did some live rolling(sparring) last night.  Hip felt great, no problems.
