Training Strongman
« on: May 09, 2017, 10:16:55 AM »
Has anyone on here ever done strongman lifts/competitions after their resurfacing?  I'm kind of leery about loading up 600 lbs and walking with it.  I'm still a few months from being released to do deadlifts but I'd like to start incorporating this kind of stuff into my workouts if it's safe, and maybe even do a competition.  But if my leg is going to snap off halfway through a yokewalk, I should probably not.

Don't know about strongman, but Buster is a powerlifter and might be able to advise you.

I'm back to lifting, but not at those levels. Avoiding snapping off your leg is probably a good thing  ;D  but I've gotten back to doing stronger lifts. Not 600 lbs and not walking about willy nilly with it either.
