Hello everyone,
I’m about 3 years out from right hip resurfacing with Dr Gross.   I’ve found that my hip has gotten stronger and stronger over that time.   About 3 months ago I started at a CrossFit gym, there are a handful of movements that I still find to be difficult, however, squatting, for the most part feels pretty good.   I do worry from time to time if this is something that I should be doing so I’m putting it to you all.   I have never asked the doc if this was ok or if there is a limitation on squats.  I do feel slight discomfort as I am on my way back up and straightening out.   But that happens when I load the wood stove or any other activity that I’m doing.   Today I broke a personal record and squatte 205lbs.   I am very happy withy the hip, just wondering if I keep getting stronger, is there a limit to how much weight I should be squatting?

:) Jake. Hi. Think about it. I doubt whether your hip or hips will have any issue. They are massively strong. Squatting is natural.
The weakest link maybe something else............ Range of movement is near enough to natural from my understanding.
Good stuff.
