Dr. Gross on Deadliest Catch!?

Yup, that was him... Same old Dr. G. And it's exactly how I'd expect to see him. He's just that mellow and matter of fact and easy going when talking with him. Certainly caught me off guard to see him on Discovery Channel though.

On last night's episode one of the crab boat captains was at the doctor for a hip issue. Turns out he was seeing Dr. Gross. They showed the consultation and the X-rays and Dr. Gross' explanation of the situation. I'm guessing in future episodes he'll have surgery (resurfacing!?). We'll see...

It just surprised me seeing Dr. Gross on a TV show we actually watch.

Nice catch Quig! Wished I would have seen that. Google shows that he already had the surgery back in February. So it is likely we might see more of Dr. Gross in some upcoming episodes!
