Hello,
Both my hips were given durom resurfacing devices in 2004. Two years ago I couldn't put weight on left side but xray concluded was just soft tissue damage so I gritted my teeth & had lots of physio. Last month went to my surgeon for checkup & found that the durum was broken & 5 days later he gave me a total hip replacement. Has this happened to anyone else? Also in last couple of years my calves are cramped & burning - neither my surgeon or physiotherapist can figure out what cause is. I'm thankful for new left hip but anxious about right side which surgeon wants to monitor.
