Walking after Op how much?

Hi all

I had a right hip resurfacing on 21/01 this year so am 10 days out. Just wondered what sort of distances I should be aiming for on the 2 crutches per day? I still have quite a lot of swelling around the joint and very weak quads etc so struggle to lift my leg to 90 degrees in front of me. Walking seems OK though. Been gradually increasing distances and did about 2.5km today. How much are other people doing? Am I overdoing it?
