Avascular Necrosis

I did a search for Avascular Necrosis, but didn't find too many people that got HR due to AVN. At least none recently.
Has anyone had experience getting resurfacing done for AVN? How as your experience and how long ago?

I just had both hips done with Dr. Pritchett. I am a bit worried because of all the reading i have done about concerns that the AVN usually will progress until the femoral head completely crumbles and you will end up needing a replacement much sooner than later. Even Dr. Pritchett says it's only a 50/50 that this will work. Has anyone had resurfacing for AVN and had it fail?

Unrelated, has anyone heard of "Epibone" or "Bonus BioGroup" ?
