Time between first symptoms and surgery

I've done as much research as I could and I think the least of my worries is Dr Gross and his team.  It just happened so suddenly, I get nervous sometimes thinking I may be acting too quickly, but I also don't want to continue not being able to walk 2 blocks without having to stop and rest because of the pain in my hip/leg. 

So I'm going to continue down this path and see what happens.

I lasted 2 1/2 years after my first indications. 

For 1 year after I started having symptoms, I thought I had a problem with my hip flexors.  The OA pain was never severe.  The problem was my range of motion.  I couldn't tie my shoes or anything like that.  I also had extension limitations.  The OA was always there.  And it ached.  But the biggest issue was the mobility issues.

It was starting to cause back trouble for me.
