Left hip

Getting my left hip resurfaced 10/5/22
after having the right 12/18/09.  The right was done by Dr Craig Della Valle at Rush in Chicago.  I lucked out that Dr Peter Brooks decided to semi retire here in Vero Beach FL and agreed to do it.  I’m a avid weight lifter and glad to be able to get a BHR.

Buster - We both had our right hips done by Dr. Della Valle. Mine has been great.  I am having my left hip done by Dr. Schmitt in the Detroit area.  It gets harder to find someone who will do the procedure on older folks, like myself, so I feel fortunate that he feels I am still a good candidate. I hope your recovery is going well.

Marco, I know what you mean about finding someone.  I reached out to Della Valle and never received a reply.  Luckily Dr Brooks decided to semi retire to my area.
