I’d like to know when you started to forget about having the surgery or if you never have.

Currently it’s all I think about at 8 weeks!

Somewhere between 8 months and 1 year.  Don’t give it a second’s thought.  I’m only reminded when I have to explain to TSA the thing in my pocket that looks like a grenade.  Now I have one in each pocket!   :) :)

Pretty similar for me - coming up 7 years and 11 1/2 year anniversaries. Honestly do not even think about it in my daily life except when I am at the airport and set off the detectors like a Christmas tree, or on the golf course when lightening starts - I have a fear of being a magnet!
If you are mid to large size bone structure, there is nothing to fear about your femoral head.

Us bilateral Hippies do resemble a Tesla coil.  I’ll start being more careful during thunderstorms.  Thanks, Packman!   :D

[/I’m just over 5ft 8 (5.85) and received at 52mm BHR. I was quite surprised I received a 52mm as I’m on the smaller side and thought it would be a 50mm as discussed initially with the surgeon.
