Blitz....please provide some background.

Have you done some new exercises?

Did you over-do it with PT?

Where you having these problems last week?

What kind of pain, muscle?

Did you fall?

Is the pain in the groin area?

Are you on crutches or a cane?

The only numbness I've had is isolated near the incision scar.  My OS explained that sometimes there are nerves that are severed as the skin is cut and we may never get all of that sensation back.

If you are talking about numbness throughout the leg, you should see a doctor ASAP.

Blitz,

I'm about 6 weeks post op doing PT 3x week.  I have pain when I walk which disappears when I get stretched and do my PT session.  The pain is clearly muscle related and is more soreness and tightness most of the time.  If I try to stand on my new leg I can't raise my other leg to get my pants on unless I have something to balance against.  Numbness at the incision at the surface.
