High Altitude Trekking
« on: September 07, 2009, 04:12:59 PM »
I had a resurfacing in May 2008, very successful.  I am a full-time ski instructor, and worked 120 days last winter - other than muscle ache in the buttock and random clunkings for the first couple of months, absolutely nothing to report.  I had worked hard on fitness & flexibility before the op, and worked hard post-op to regain everything.  Lots of effort, but worth it all.

My next big adventure is trekking in Morocco, in the High Atlas, with an ascent of Mount Toubkal (over 4000m).

Does anyone have anything to report about high altitude activities that I should be aware of?
