Not much to say!  I'm trying to take Ed's advice and think "bring it on" . . .

This picture was taken 9 months after my LBHR and I hope to repeat the climb in 9 months!

Here we go . . .

Hi

Hope everything goes well.   For me the period between my left BHR and right BHR was a period of waiting.   I wanted it to be as long as possible but was conscious that I'd be able to do more once I'd got both hips done.   That's certainly been the case.

I'll be cheering for you.    ;D

Hi All,

I've only had a Blackberry for the last few weeks so didn't post but MY SECOND SURGERY WENT EXTREMELY WELL!  I'm so stoked!  Actually this recovery seems easier than the last.  I came home a day earlier, my pain level has consistently been lower, I went to one crutch quicker, etc.  Ed, now I understand about being DONE!  We only have two hips!  I'm elated.  I think the difference in recoveries speaks to the point often made to newbies -- everyone (and every joint) is different so outcomes can vary.  My surgeon, Dr. Joshua Hickman, was incredible and is as excited with my results as I am so choosing an experienced surgeon is the most important step to success!
Tomorrow will be four weeks.  I'm at work part time and doing 25 minutes a day on the elliptical, 15 minutes walking and PT.  Here we go!

Great to hear you are doing well.  Glad you now have 2 good hips.

Keep in touch.  Hope the rest of your recovery continues to go well for you.

Good Luck.

Congratulations on geting through your second resurfacing surgery, and so well too. Thanks for updating us. I too have a bad second hip and I know that it is in my future.
