Happy Halloween: Today is 3 months to the day since having Bilateral Hip Resurfacing Surgery and everything has gone according to plan. I LOVE BEING PAIN FREE and also walking strong and with no limping.

I have goals to surf and do some activities by next summer. I could do it way sooner but I can wait for the water to get warm again. I want to ski, play tennis, golf and jog my new son in his stroller. That is all I really would like to do and try and be able to use these new "wheels" for as long as possible. I do not plan on running any marathons or even a 5K (but I might) So that I can get the most out of my hips for the long term.

I Could not be happier - Thank you to Vince, Vicky and all the surface hippies and information that is out there for future and current Resurfacing patients.

Hi Andre

You've neatly summed up the joy of it all and the different possibilities that are opening up for you.

Very best wishes for your future.

Hey Andre,
I told you that being pain free is a fantastic feeling that most of us pre surgery can not even imagine again. Things are going to get progressively better and you will do all those activities again I believe. When you are ready to surf Bill and I are in so let us know. Just to keep your outlook bright on the future, all those activities you listed I have done post op and all with no problem whatsoever. Keep up the recovery process.

Way to go! You are 12 weeks ahead of me - (one down one to go) Your encouragement is important to so many others like me who are wondering what to expect. I wish you continued success and realization of your goals.
