Pat's Surgery
« on: August 09, 2010, 12:33:57 PM »
I am happy to announce that Pat came out of her 5 hour surgery with flying colors. Pat will be in intensive care for a few days and then to a private room until she is discharged assuming she has no other issues related to her surgery Pat will be back home in a week or so.

Hi All

I am still in the hospital.  Will be released Sun or Mond and will stay in Cleveland for 2 more days.  Having a lot of A Fib with my heart beating fast and hard.  They are getting it under contro.  Have started me on coumadin for a few months to take care of it.  Feels like I have been hit by a Mack truck.  This is a tough surgery compared to my hip resurfacing.  But things are looking up and I will recover fine eventually.  Just takes a lot of patience.

Just wanted to say Hi and will start check in my email in a few days.  Not up to it yet.

Good Luck to all.

Pat:

You're in good hands at one of the best heart hospitals in the country.  Is there a future web site for heart patients coming down the road?  Take care.
