Wakeboarding
« on: September 20, 2010, 01:12:39 AM »
Hey all, Here is a short video of me wakeboarding at Parker River on the California/Arizona border this summer. This is the first time riding post op surgery and it's been 8 yrs since I last rode. I only have been wakeboarding 4 times ever and like I said , it's been 8 yrs. It felt so good to be out there and absolutly had no problems or pain with the new hips ;D ;D ;D

Wayne

P.S. Chuck I know you waterski so this is for you . I know I'm a rookie but in my own mind i was a pro for a few minutes.

Hey Wayne, great footage! Glassy water, never-ending small waves, and a board to play on; what more could a guy ask for. Glad to see that you new hips are constantly finding great ways to enjoy life.

Hi Wayne

I have just had revision from resurface to THR and been told I would never be able to waterski, ski or horse ride again.

I love skiing and whilst on holiday the week before my revision, I had a go at wakeboarding, which I also loved. (I figured as I would never be doing it again ..)

Your video is brilliant and I think is fantastic that you can do it !!

Many thanks

sarah
