Looking for a physical therapist in Hawaii
« on: October 01, 2010, 02:43:14 PM »
Hello fellow hippies!
I started my PT here in NY where I live but I'll be in Hawaii (on the Big Island - Kona coast area) for about 6 weeks mid-October through early December and will need to continue my therapy there.  Does anyone have any experience/recommendations with any PT places in Hawaii?

FYI I'm 4 weeks post op - Dr. Su 'released' me to drive this past Monday (woo hoo!), started my stretching exercises that night, officially started out patient PT on Tuesday ... by Wednesday I felt like a truck had hit me :-(  By Thursday though back to feeling pretty darn good again .... now if the rain will stop in NY I can get back to my walking 2+ miles twice/day.

Hey LeeAnn,

Eric lives in Hawaii and he may be a good source for that info you need. You could probably send him an e-mail. He goes by the name Hawaiieric and alot of his posts are inthe surfing /water sports topis area. Good luck.

Hi LeeAnn,

You might try Physical Therapy at The Club, ask for Chris. He helped me rehab from two hip resurfacing operations and  has helped a few others as well.
