Good Luck Tuesday.  We will all be thinking about you.  You will dream of Florida while asleep on the OR table!  Probably start swimming in the middle of the operation!

I look forward to reading about your surgery and recovery.

Oh, I wish I could go back after surgery.  It was beautiful, we swam in the calm, warm Atlantic every day.  Thank God my shoulder is coming back just in time from it's own surgery.  Each swim got a little longer and stronger until finally it was time to come home yesterday.  Now the arm isn't bad and it's time to work on the hips!

Pat, I'll be dreaming of Waikiki Beach and the Rough Water Swim in September.  I'll see my self using my legs to push myself forward with every pull of my arms, and finally running up the beach to the finish.  I'll dream of riding well in the 6 hour mountain bike race on Long Island that I have to skip this year.  And mostly I'll dream of running, slow and awkward at first, but getting better every day until I'm finishing first in the 60 year old age group at short distances next year.

I won't just be dreaming, I'll be seeing my future!
