Planning a little road trip to this crazy race.
Anyone near and want to join?

It will definitely be more on the hike than run end.

Dave, it looks awesome, a really nice diversion away form triathlon.  You're going to have a great time and I know you'll finish well.

It will be fun for sure, my wife and many friends coming too.  I signed up for the new Nations Harbor 70.3 in August, we'll see.  If I'm not up for the run there is a relay I can convert to and get a runner.
Best...

Relay's are such a rip.  You'll be running by August, maybe not up to the level that you want but you'll be able to get through it.  If not you can always do the for-runner of the aquabike; swim, bike, drop out!  I spent so much time injured in my last years as a triathlete that I did almost every possible combination of partial triathlons in races that I entered and couldn't complete.  I even went to Tobay with a broken arm and skipped the swim then ran both the bike and run course.  What the heck, anything for fun, right!
