I hear you, man.  Better by the day!

Take it slow though.  Remember, you're in it for the long term.

Almost 11 weeks for me and I'm taking my son to DC for the weekend to see the Air & Space Museum.  Would not have been able to two months ago!

Today is day 12 for me, it feels great to be getting my life back!  I got behind the wheel and drove to the hardware store today and was able to walk around the store with no assistance.  And Tuesday I get the staples out, I can not wait!

Ninety percent of the time I do not notice the staples, but the other 10% I am ready to remove them myself!

My Dad was born in Floyd County and my wife grew up in Waterloo.  Combine that with the years of being in sales calling on the Deere plants I have spent more than my share of hours driving through that state.  ;D ;D

Iowa, all I can say it gets better everyday. I am itching to gt back in the pool. The scabs on my incision are all gone but the doc told me to wait for six weeks. I am 3 days into week 4 and I am looking forward to a good swim work-out.

Keep up the spirits.

Great news, Iowa.  I told you it would get better.  It's a great feeling, huh?

I did the same thing at about 2 weeks, I drove up the highway to the next town to buy an electathon (electric go kart) for my son and the brakes went out in the truck on the way back at about 65 mph with a not-so-well-recovered right hip.  It all worked out, but feeling good can be dangerous.  Take it easy.
