10" incision 9" healed great, the last is finally healing, cleaned it all week, antibiotics working ,  i had a piece of sutcher come out and it was exactly like fishing string, snipped off taking to doc to show him,  i might be wrong but it doesnt look like dissolvable to me. what do you guys/gals think?

Maybe your surgeon just got back from a fishin trip....and.... NAH....I'm sure they know the difference.  I had an internal suture get inflamed from a different surgery and the surgeon had to go in and fish it out. Mild infection but went away quick. Not hip related tho. It was supposed to have dissolved but didn't.

Glad it's healing, the best result from an infection, excellent way to go forward.

Had to snip a pc off too at 2 wks.  Now that spot is healed just like the rest of the scar.  No further problems so far and yes - Looked like fishing line!
