Awesome Bill!!!  I'm counting down the days till I get to ride again.  Hoping it's at the 6month appt I get the clearance.  I've already scheduled my days off and hubby & I will be packing up the toy hauler for couple day adventure!

Do you do any desert races or enduros?  My one brother races the USDR series and my other is going for 40+ expert D37 plate this year.  He has Parkinsons and this is his goal.  He had the #1 D37 plate in 1990 (or thereabouts).

Great photo Bill. Reminded me of one of my old sayings: that life is measured by time spent in the air. Glad to see that you are still getting lots of air time  ;D

Thats a cool saying John, I'm gonna remember that one !

Denise, no I haven't ever done a desert race, I'll have to give it a whirl one of these days. My neighbor is going for the D-37 60+expert this year, I've ridden with him a few times(he's the one I went to Kennedey Meadows with) and he's crazy !  Motocross seems easy compared to that stuff. Best of luck to both of your brothers ! For the one with Parkinsons, two #1 plates over 20 years apart would be awesome, I hope he pulls it off.  Glad you'll get to ride again soon, once you get to where you can put on your gear and get on the stupid thing the riding part is easy hahaha.  Have fun and take it easy for awhile ! Good luck, Bill

Maybe instead of taking up pole vaulting, I should take up motocross.  That looks pretty sweet.
