Went to golf range 5 weeks post op

Im 5 weeks post op from left BHR (right hip 3mos post op) went to the driving range today to hit a few short shots with my lob wedge and lo n behold no pain and I was hitting crisp shots...graduated to my pitching wedge and was hitting it like mid season form high n long (140y) moved to 7iron and was easily hitting it 170y......No pain in either hip and swing felt strong.............I wanna do 9 holes asap.......please someone talk me down lol.

I hit balls at 4 weeks and played 18 at 7 weeks...I won't talk you out of it...go for it...

Glad to hear you're moving along, was wondering how you were doing after your marathon hospital stay after your surgery.  Hope you continue to get better.

Dr. Gross told me 8 weeks, I waited a little over 8 weeks, I could have played earlier.

When I played my first 18, I won low score, I took greenies off my buddies and I won the longest drive on #18, they have never lived down the fact that a guy who just a short time before was laying in an operating room.   

Listen to your body, work up to it
